Prestwick wins South District, then wins the regional title as
well!
It was a very exciting District championship in 2024. Everyone
was standing around the board in disbelief.. Guys were calling
it before all the points were up on the board that it was going
to be a 4 way tie. That caused quite a dilemma because we had to
come up with a tie breaker. We took the number 1 players from
each team and had a sudden death playoff.
Mark Small with all the years experience in tournament play
piped it down the middle and then stuffed it to about 3 feet and
made the putt to win it for Prestwick! |

Prestwick represented the South District very well by
winning the regional's by 9.5 points to advance to the finals in June. |
